While I plan to keep my posts light, I have to admit that the situation 20 miles south of us here in El Paso is of great interest to me.... I figured I would share with you, in case the situation in Mexico interests you, too. Mostly human interest stories... The way I see it, the more insight the better- and that applies to everything in my universe.

Welcome to my (by far scariest) newest adventure!
Well, I made the announcement on facebook, and here we are. Why I have gotten it into my head that I wanted to start a blog, I will never know. Nonetheless, I am excited to get this started, and to dive right in! As you may or may not know, I live in El Paso, TX....which, as you may or may not know, is about thisfar from the 'murder capital of the world', Juarez, MX. Surprisingly, though, El Paso has none of those problems- we are a college city, home to a (HUGE) military community, and one giant bunch of suburbs all meshed together. It is hot, dry, and almost always sunny here- which, at first glance, has a lot of people under the impression that El Paso is BORING. So, keep an eye out for future posts from me- maybe I can change a few minds! What do you think?
